Phase 3 of 5: Impact
What's the single most impactful thing you shipped this cycle?

The output
A draft that reads like you wrote it.
First-person, specific, grounded in your actual examples. No hollow phrases, no AI slop: every sentence is traceable to something you told it. Choose concise, standard, or detailed. Click any section to revise it inline.
- 3–4 sentence opener strong enough for a promotion packet
- Impact bullets built from your actual numbers
- Values section written from examples you gave, not invented
- A growth section with real depth, not one vague sentence
- Goals that read confident, not aspirational fluff
Executive Summary
This cycle I focused on two high-leverage initiatives with lasting impact on system reliability and team velocity. I led the authentication infrastructure migration, cutting login latency by 40% and eliminating a recurring class of on-call incidents, while shipping a shared data pipeline abstraction that unblocked three dependent teams.
KEY CONTRIBUTIONS & IMPACT
- Delivered auth migration ahead of schedule: p99 latency from 340ms to 190ms, ~$60k/yr in compute savings
- Shipped data pipeline abstraction, resolving a 6-week blocker for mobile, growth, and data teams
- Mentored two junior engineers through production incidents; both now own independent services
How it works
Answer focused questions
5 phases, around 20 questions. Prompts designed to surface the specifics that matter: impact metrics, technical depth, growth, values. The things that separate strong reviews from generic ones.
We write your draft
Claude takes your answers and generates a first-person self-review grounded entirely in what you actually did. No filler, no buzzwords.

What they say
Don't let a weak write-up undersell a strong year.

Writing my own end of year review always feel like a chore. I like how this has not only asked me for some responses, it actually made me stop and think about my past year. In the fast paced environment we're all in, this is very handy.
I love that you give me all 3 options when the results were generated with ability to revise each section once generated. This really keeps the tool useful and flexible. It's almost like writing this up is only the first step for my own summary and then I keep revising it until I'm happy.
Your data
Your answers never leave your browser.
When you generate a review, your answers are sent once to Anthropic's Claude API over HTTPS. They're not stored on our end. We don't have a database. Here's exactly what we use and what we don't.
Stored in your browser only
Your answers, progress, and generated draft are saved in localStorage, a private storage area that only your browser can read. Nothing is sent anywhere until you click Generate.
Generated by Claude (Anthropic)
Clicking Generate sends your answers over encrypted HTTPS to Anthropic's API. Your draft comes back and is cached locally. Anthropic does not use API submissions to train their models.
No database, no accounts
Redline has no backend database and requires no account. We don't store your role, your answers, or your generated review anywhere on a server. The API call is stateless and ephemeral.
Anonymous analytics only
We use Google Analytics to count basic usage: page views and whether a review was generated. Your actual answers are never included in any analytics event.
